Structural steel installation nearing completion. Roofing, sheathing, window installation, interior wall erection, electrical wiring and mechanical equipment installation are underway. Preparation for future parking lot underway (November 2024).
Foundation work completed. Structural steel erection and glulam installation underway. Retaining walls and site access stairs being formed and poured (August 2024).
The foundation work is well underway. Underground services installation and slab on grade preparation are ongoing. (March 2024)

Contractor Selected (June 2023)
A contractor has been selected for the new seismic replacement building of Moody Elementary School. The work will begin summer 2023 and will involve construction of a new building, play space, and parking lot on the northern portion of the École Moody Middle School of the Arts site.
The School District is working closely with the City and the Contractor on ensuring safety, building permit, and bylaw protocols are in place.
