SD43's Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) Program welcome you!
Providing support in over 10 languages, the SWIS team provides direct, personal and culturally sensitive settlement services to all immigrant, refugee, and permanent resident families.
Our team offers orientations, needs assessments, community connections and a diverse array of workshops to help the smooth transition to Canadian life.
Serving all SD43s schools, their personal and direct experience to the settlement process allows them to use their firsthand knowledge to build trust and confidence.
