Raven students and parents, please save the dates!
January Graduation assessments will be taking place during IE week (January 20th - 24th).
These assessments are written by every Grade 10 and Grade 12, and writing them is a requirement to graduate in BC. All exams are digital. In January, all Grade 10 students will write the Literacy 10 assessment, all Grade 12 students will write the Literacy 12 assessment, and Grade 10 students who took math in Semester 1 will write the Numeracy 10 assessment (those with math in Semester 2 will write the Numeracy 10 in April).
This year, students are required to BYOD (or bring-your-own-device) to write the exam. Students should already have a device, but if they don't, they can fill in the form linked here to borrow a laptop for the remainder of the school year.
Students writing the Numeracy 10 assessment should also bring their own calculator. Students will not be allowed to use cell phones as calculators.
If you have any questions about this year's graduation assessments, please email Jodie Eaton (jeaton@sd43.bc.ca).
