Technology, along with 21st century skills, plays an important role in the lives of students today. Our school is committed to improve student achievement in the use of computer technology through its integration in all subject areas. Our teachers encourage their students to use technology tools available in our school and, particularly, to use them to present ideas, enhance creativity, organize thoughts and communicate effectively in a variety of ways at age appropriate levels.Our goal is to give our students the knowledge, attitude and skills necessary to become literate and responsible techno-citizens.
Students in Gr. 4/5 participate in Bring Your Own Device where they bring their own laptop / tablet to school and learn how to use it in their daily classroom assignments and routines. Parents are supported where needed in this program.
As technology continuously changes and evolves we are committed to update and maintain our technology with support from our district.
