Wednesday Choir students, remember there is a practice afterschool today.  We will be performing a song in the Remembrance Day assembly tomorrow.  Remember concert dress (all black) and rehearsal in blocks 1 & 2 Thursday.

As Remembrance Day approaches, students are reminded to reflect on the fact that many lives were sacrificed in support of freedom and our way of life. We ask that you bring a small donation to class in support of our many veterans. Money donated will go directly to the Legion.    

In view of the fact that winter is fast approaching, the amount of daylight we are experiencing seems to be getting ever so much shorter. As an issue of safety, students should leave the building once they are finished with classes and go straight home.

The grade 7 girls volleyball team played Summit last night in their last game of the regular season.  they won 5 of their 8 games and played very well.  Great job girls!  The team heads to Moody Middle Monday for playoffs, wish them good luck when you see them.

Congratulations to the grade 7 girls volleball team for playing their first games of the season.  The girls played well against cross town rivals Kwayquitlam and tied the home team.  4 games to 4.  Their serves were fantastic yesterday afternoon.  Congrats girls and we practice Thursday morning.

Senior Band rehersals start THIS week.  Senior band starts on Thursday and is every Monday and Thursday.  Junior band is held on Tuesday and Friday.  Remember our Instrument Rental night, is tonight, and then our first regular rehersal's will start next Tuesday.
