Our Mission in the LC:

Through its collection, programs and facilities, our learning commons has the following goals:

• to promote and support literacy and the love of reading.
• to provide access to information by offering a diverse collection of learning resources in a wide variety of subjects, levels and formats.
  
• to teach students the skills necessary to access, evaluate and utilize information effectively and ethically in order to become independent lifelong learners.
  
• to provide a positive and dynamic atmosphere where all members of the school community are welcome and the skills of being a life-long learner are modeled on a daily basis.
