FAQ about Registration

1. When does school registration start?
Registration for new students starts the week of August 25, 2014 between 8:30am – 3:30pm. Parent(s) and/or legal guardians are encouraged to register early. New Student Registrations beyond September may result in your child not getting into their catchment school as classes may be full.   Early registration is highly recommended.

2. Where do I register my child (children)?
For new student registration at any grade level you will need to contact your catchment school.
To determine the school designated for your catchment area, please access our School Locator tool; simply type in your street name and follow the instructions.

3. What do I need to bring to register my child (children)?
When registering your child you will need to bring proof of citizenship for parent and child (i.e. birth certificates, PR Cards, Passports) and proof of residency in B.C. (e.g. [1] rental contract or property purchase agreement; AND [2] tax notice, telephone bill, or utility bill, etc.).  Parent(s) or legal guardian must live in the same permanent address as the student.

4. Looking for more registration information that is not on this page?
If you are looking for more information about registering new students, please refer to the existing Registration page or email information@sd43.bc.ca
