Our objectives are to think systemically, foster innovation and creativity, build capacity, provide stability, build relationships and sustain hope and possibility with the vision of improving life chances for all students as we work toward developing the characteristics of a learning organization within SD43.
Our many professionals and paraprofessionals work in partnership with school-based staff to bridge the gaps and address the challenges faced by students with unique challenges. Professional practice is directed by the Ministry of Education via
Special Education Services: A Manual of Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, as well as district collective agreements and policy guidelines.
