Capital Projects

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This website provides updates on School District No. 43's (Coquitlam) capital projects including new school construction, seismic replacements projects, additions, and other small projects.

Updates will be posted to each project page linked in the menu to the left, and may include text, photos, videos and applicable links to other websites. ​

Approved Projects

A project is considered approved when it receives Ministry of Education and Child Care funding.

Steel is being erected and infrastructure works underground for the internal roadway and at intersections and David Avenue and Soball Avenue have begun (June 2025).

Seismic Replacement
​​​The building envelope is nearing completion and work is well underway in the interior spaces. The contractor is continuing working on the hardscape (June 2025).  ​

Addition
Occupancy achieved, and addition opened to students in February. Final deficiency remediation and site clean-up is in progress (March 2025).
