For 2014-15, Gleneagle’s Musical Theatre 11/12 class is excited to present, Shrek: the Musical. Based on the 2001 Shrek film and William Steig's 1990 book Shrek! , this musical tells the tale of an ogre who solitary swamp existence is interrupted a gang of homeless fairy-tale creatures raid his sanctuary. It order to reclaim his swamp, Shrek must withstand the unwanted friendship of a talking Donkey, rescue the shut-in Princess Fiona from a fire-breathing dragon, and overcome the vertically challenged Lord Farquaad. Along the way Shrek might make a friend or two and even find love.  

We are so excited to cordially invite you to Shrek: the Musical which promises to be one of the most elaborate and exciting shows yet on the Gleneagle stage!  Tickets are $15 for adults, $8 for seniors & students, and kids under 5 years old are free. If you pre-order using this form, we are happy to offer a special Season’s Pass rate which will get you into all 6 shows for $70/ person.  Cash or cheque payable to: Gleneagle Secondary School re: Musical Theatre Department and can be purchased at the Gleneagle main office. Seating is first come, first served.  This year we will be having a raffle at the start of every show for best seats in the house, so be sure to bring cash for the raffle and for the concession!

• Evenings: May 6th-8th and May 13th-15th, 2015; shows start at 7 PM

• Adult Tickets: $15 each

• Senior/Student Tickets: $8 each

• Adult Season Pass (all six evening shows): $70 each
